🚂 The latest funding updates from PA and CA

SEPTA is still in flux: the transit agency was granted permission to dip into funds to avoid service cuts, but a 21.5% fare increase is still moving ahead this month. And in San Francisco, transit advocates recently held an emergency rally to get a vital loan back on the table for Bay Area transit. The governor promised his support, but it’s still a stop-gap while transit agencies and lawmakers work towards long-term funding.

TL;DR: Public transit is in jeopardy across the country. Sign up for newsletters from your local transit agency and advocacy groups to hear about funding votes, public hearings, and calls to action.
